RESOLUTION NO. 3097
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO ACCEPT
INTERESTS IN REAL PROPERTY TO CITY MANAGER PURSUANT TO
GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 27281
WHEREAS, Government Code section 27281 authorizes the City Council to
authorize one or more officers or agents to accept and consent to deeds or grants
conveying interests in real property to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to fully utilize the tools in the Govemment
Code in order to streamline the provision of municipal services and to operate in a more
business -like fashion;
WHEREAS, all other legal prerequisites to the adoption of this Resolution have
occurred.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, determined and ordered by the City
Council of the City of San Jacinto:
SECTION 1. Incorporation of Recitals. The City Council hereby finds and
determines that the Recitals of this Resolution are true and correct
and are hereby incorporated into this Resolution as though fully set
forth herein.
SECTION 2. Authority to Accept Interests in Real Property. The City Manager
shall have the right, but not the obligation, to accept interests in real
property, on behalf of the City of San Jacinto or its Redevelopment
Agency. Such acceptance shall be memorialized in a written
certificate of acceptance, which shall be in substantially the
following form:
'This is to certify that the interest in real property
conveyed by the deed or grant dated from
to [the City of San Jacinto, a
California general law city and municipal corporation /
the San Jacinto Redevelopment Agency, a public
body corporate and politic] is hereby accepted by the
undersigned officer or agent on behalf of the City
Council pursuant to authority conferred by San
Jacinto City Council adopted on September 6th, 2007,

and the grantee consents to recordation thereof by its
duly authorized officer.

SECTION 3. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon its
adoption.
